Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 2026. This policy explains how we handle your personal data.
1. Who we are
Your Next Investment Property (“we”, “us”) provides short-let and Airbnb management services to property owners in Northern Ireland. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us at info@yournextinvestmentproperty.com.
2. Data we collect
- Enquiry data — your name, email address, telephone number, property postcode, property details and any message you send us through our contact form.
- Owner and service data — information needed to manage your property, such as address, access details, compliance certificates, bank details for payouts and correspondence with us.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information and pages visited, collected through our website and analytics tools.
3. How and why we use your data
We use personal data to:
- respond to enquiries and prepare rental estimates (legitimate interests);
- provide and administer our management services (performance of a contract);
- meet legal, tax, safety and compliance obligations (legal obligation);
- improve our website and services (legitimate interests);
- send marketing where you have asked us to (consent, withdrawable at any time).
4. Sharing your data
We share data only where necessary: with booking platforms such as Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo; with cleaning, linen and maintenance contractors engaged on your property; with our accountants, insurers and professional advisers; and with our IT, hosting, email and analytics providers. We never sell your personal data.
5. Third-party tools and cookies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality and, where enabled, for analytics such as Google Analytics. Non-essential cookies are only set with your consent. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may then not work as intended.
6. Retention
Enquiry data is normally kept for up to 24 months if you do not become a client. Client records, statements and financial documents are kept for at least six years after our relationship ends, to meet UK tax and legal requirements. We delete or anonymise data once it is no longer needed.
7. International transfers
Some of our suppliers process data outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum to keep your data protected.
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including access controls, encrypted connections and reputable service providers, to protect personal data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access.
9. Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to be informed, to access your data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to erasure, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on it. You also have the right not to be subject to solely automated decision-making. To exercise any right, email info@yournextinvestmentproperty.com. We will respond within one month.
10. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page with an updated date.
